Printago support Tested

The Prusa MK3.5 is an electronics and firmware upgrade to the MK3S+, retaining the proven i3-style Cartesian bed-slinger frame and 250 × 210 × 210 mm build volume while replacing the 8-bit Einsy board with a 32-bit xBuddy board. The upgrade adds hardware input shaping and Pressure Advance (roughly doubling print speed over the MK3S+), a 3.5-inch color LCD with print-file preview, and Wi-Fi/LAN connectivity with native PrusaConnect support. It is available as an upgrade kit for existing MK3S/MK3S+ owners or as a complete printer.

Pros

  • Up to 2x faster than the MK3S+ thanks to the 32-bit board, input shaping, and Pressure Advance
  • Wi-Fi, LAN, and NFC connectivity with PrusaConnect remote management
  • Available as an upgrade kit for existing MK3S/MK3S+ printers
  • Color LCD with print-file preview and improved navigation

Cons

  • Still an open-frame bed-slinger; no enclosure for engineering materials without a separate purchase
  • Build volume identical to the MK3S+, with no expansion of print area
  • Upgrade installation takes roughly 2 hours
