Printago support Tested

The Prusa MINI IS is not a distinct hardware product. Input shaping on the MINI and MINI+ was introduced as a firmware feature in the 5.1.0 release, requiring no hardware changes and no separate purchase. Printers manufactured after that point ship with input shaping pre-calibrated from the factory, and earlier units can enable it via a free firmware update. All specifications (180 × 180 × 180 mm build volume, 32-bit Buddy board, PEI spring-steel bed, filament sensor) are identical to the standard MINI+.

Pros

  • Input shaping delivered as a free firmware update to all MINI/MINI+ owners
  • Factory pre-calibrated on units shipped after the firmware 5.1.0 launch
  • No additional hardware purchase required

Cons

  • Not a separate product; it is the same printer as the MINI+ with current firmware
  • Speed gains from input shaping are constrained by the small build volume
