Printer not in the list

Don't see your printer? It probably still works.

Our compatibility matrix lists the models in our database, but it isn't the whole story. Printago connects to any printer that talks via an open standard like Moonraker or OctoPrint, even when that exact model isn't on the list. We've also implemented many vendor protocols directly, including MQTT for Bambu and Elegoo, PrusaLink, and SDCP, and we're actively adding more.

What connects beyond the list

These open firmware families cover thousands of machines we can't all enumerate by name. If your printer runs one of them, Printago connects over your local network through the Fuse bridge.

Klipper via Moonraker

Any Klipper machine that exposes the Moonraker API connects through the Fuse bridge: Voron, RatRig, Sovol, Troodon, custom CoreXY builds, and the Klipper modes shipped on many stock printers.

Native vendor protocols

We've also implemented many vendor protocols directly, so these printers connect without a generic host: MQTT for Bambu and Elegoo, PrusaLink, and SDCP among them. We're actively adding more.

OctoPrint

Printers managed through OctoPrint connect over your local network with the printer host URL and an API key. Monitor jobs, stream status, and route prints alongside the rest of your fleet.

Connecting an unlisted printer

The setup is the same as any LAN printer. No model-specific configuration is required.

  1. 1
Confirm the printer is on your network. It needs a reachable Moonraker or OctoPrint endpoint on your LAN. If you can open its web UI from another machine, Printago can reach it too.
  2. 2
Install the Fuse bridge. Fuse runs on Windows, macOS, or Docker and handles all local communication. No Raspberry Pi or extra hardware is added on top of what already runs your printer. Download Fuse.
  3. 3
Add the printer in Fuse. Follow the instructions in Fuse for adding the printer as a "Generic" printer. It appears in your dashboard for monitoring, cloud slicing, and job routing.

Want your printer added or adjusted?

We add and tune printer support based on what people actually run. Tell us the make and model on Discord and we'll help you get connected, verify it, and add it to the list. If a listed printer needs a correction, that's the fastest way to reach us too.
