--no-check
Suppress the layer-height-limit error and the post-slice checks for empty G-code layers and path conflicts, downgrading them from fatal aborts to warnings so the slice produces output; filament mismatches, bed-type mismatches, and sequential-print collisions still abort.
Details
Suppresses validity checks that would otherwise abort the CLI, letting the slice produce output anyway. It loosens two things: a layer height that exceeds the profile's limit is downgraded from a fatal error to a warning, and the post-slice checks for empty G-code layers and G-code path conflicts (overlapping toolpaths) no longer exit with an error but are logged while slicing continues. Other pre-slice errors, such as filament or bed-type mismatches and sequential-print collisions, still abort.
Watch out for
- ▲ Path conflicts mean toolpaths actually overlap; printing that output can cause collisions or defects. Use `--no-check` only on a slice you have already reviewed and accepted, not to silence warnings on unknown geometry.
- ▲ Layer heights past the profile limit can under-extrude or exceed the nozzle's melt rate. The check exists for a reason.
