The Creality Filament System (CFS) is Creality's four-slot multi-material unit for the K2 series, and Printago supports it in full. Connect your Creality K2, K2 Pro, or K2 Plus to Printago over your local network and every CFS slot is read automatically, with the loaded material and color shown per slot. Chain up to four CFS units for 16-color printing, and Printago keeps every slot in sync so multi-color prints route to the right filament.

What Printago does with the CFS

  • Per-slot material assignment. Printago reads each CFS slot and shows exactly what material and color is loaded, then assigns the right filament to each slot so multi-color and multi-material prints come out correct.

  • Up to 16 colors. Chain up to four CFS units and Printago tracks all 16 slots together, the same way it handles a fully expanded Bambu AMS.

  • Set material and color from Printago. Assign material type and color to any CFS slot from Printago, including non-RFID spools, while RFID-tagged spools are auto-detected and labeled.

  • Filament remapping without re-slicing. Print a file from a different slot layout than it was sliced with: Printago remaps each sliced extruder to the CFS slot holding the matching material, so any K2 in your farm can run the job.

Frequently asked questions

Does Printago support the Creality Filament System (CFS)?

Which printers work with the CFS in Printago?

Printago supports the CFS on Creality K2, Creality K2 Pro, Creality K2 Plus.

Can I assign materials per slot on the CFS with Printago?

Yes. Printago reads each CFS slot, shows what is loaded, and assigns the right material per slot so multi-color and multi-material prints route correctly.

Do I need a Raspberry Pi or extra hardware to use the CFS?

No. Printago connects over your local network through the Fuse bridge, which runs on your computer or in Docker, with no Raspberry Pi and no extra hardware.
