Dual-nozzle Bambu Lab printers
H2D, H2D Pro, H2C and X2D printers take jobs from the Printago queue and print each one from the nozzle that holds its filament.
Dual-nozzle printers in the queue, without babysitting the nozzles
A dual-nozzle Bambu Lab printer can hold twice the colors of a single-nozzle machine, but only if every job lands on the side that has its filament. The H2D, H2D Pro, H2C and X2D now take jobs from the Printago queue like the rest of your fleet.
Printago reads which nozzle each AMS unit and external spool feeds, and the size and flow type on each side. When a job is matched, each material goes to a slot on a nozzle that can feed it. If one nozzle holds everything the job needs, the whole job prints from that nozzle, which skips the nozzle offset calibration and prints like a single-nozzle machine. Only a job no single side can cover is split across both, and the file is sliced on a Bambu Studio version that knows the machine.
The printer's Slicer Configuration has new settings for which source each nozzle feeds from, which nozzle single-material prints use, and when nozzle offset calibration runs. The print queue shows every nozzle's temperature while a job prints, the control panel sets each nozzle separately, and the chamber heater on the H2D, H2C, H2S and X2D can be set from 40 to 65 °C.
Update Fuse to 1.4.13 for these printers. See Dual-nozzle printers.
Also in this release
- Flashforge prints are confirmed to have started. When the printer drops the start, Fuse sends it again without re-uploading the file, and the printer card says so. Requires Fuse 1.4.13. See When a print doesn't start.
- A Flashforge job assigned to an empty material station slot is refused before upload, with the empty slot named on the card.
- A Flashforge print that shows as printing but hasn't heated or moved for five minutes is flagged on the printer card.
Fixes
- A plate sliced for a single nozzle now matches a dual-nozzle printer whose nozzles are both that size.
- Setting a nozzle temperature on a dual-nozzle Bambu heats that nozzle, not whichever one was active. Requires Fuse 1.4.13.
- Turning the chamber off on a Bambu printer no longer leaves the old target showing in Printago.
- Picking Auto for a nozzle's filament source now takes effect instead of keeping the previous choice.
